Nokia released the Xpress web browser beta with server based compression technology to save data usage back in October. Later they updated the app with new features in November and last week they released the final version of the app.
One is to make use of SkyDrive’s tight integration with the Windows Phone 8 OS. Whenever you look at a photo, a video, or any other file for that matter, you’ll notice the option to share or upload to SkyDrive. The other two options are to download the standalone SkyDrive app, or to use the phone’s browser to access SkyDrive. Nokia Photos functions similar to other organizers and visualizers of photos such as Picasa or Windows Live Photos. It permits you to put your photos in albums, label them and see them online.
Nokia Photos interface is very attractive and includes effects that will make working with it a lot of fun.
One feature to note is the automatic resolution adjustment that makes the photos occupy less space in your memory when you transfer them to your phone.
In this way Nokia Phots is a great option for managing photos and may still be used if you don't have a Nokia phone.
